Gadsden Students Assists Local Mission Center

7.13.16 Mrs. Mrs. Ayana Williams, CPP Instructor and four CPP students went to the Etowah Baptist Mission Center to help the Mission Center with the stocking of canned goods. The CPP students and Mrs. Williams went through all the cans of food that were donated to check expiration dates on each can to see whether they were good or bad. After they checked each date on the cans, the students stocked the cans on the shelves so they could be given away to people who need help with food. The Etowah Baptist Mission Center gives away about 500 cans of food a day and Etowah Baptist Center Director, Ms. Ashley Baccus, said our CPP students were a great help because it takes hours every day to go through the canned food items. She appreciated the Gadsden Job Corps students serving the Gadsden community.
