Gadsden Job Corps Students Make a Pledge Against Bullying

The Gadsden Job Corps Center is recognizing Bullying Prevention Month. Bullying and ostracism sometimes dominate school and campus culture, leaving many students standing on the sidelines. Through fun activities, critical lessons, and special events our Center is bringing attention to this growing problem. As you can see from the picture above, a number of our students and staff have made a pledge to take a stand to stop bullying on our campus and make the Gadsden Job Corps Center a “Bully-free Campus”. There are over 100 students who have signed their pledge cards not to bully or if they see bullying to report it. Several activities will take place this month to educate and remind our students about bullying and intolerance.
