Student Hydeia Cason-Miller is a very ambitious young lady that has a heart for children and to serve others. She is from Gadsden, AL and enrolled into the Gadsden Job Corps Center to obtain her Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) Certification. Since completing her trade, she is attending Gadsden State Community College with a Major in Child Development and Nursing. After her college classes in the evenings, she has been working for the Gadsden Boys and Girls Club and she loves her job. She said, “I have the greatest opportunity in the world to work with Boys and Girls Club children every day”. Her passion is to show love to every child that comes from different, diversified backgrounds. She said, I love working with these children whether it is with their homework, developing computer skills, playing ball, or just having someone to talk too. Her goal in life is to continue to work for the Boys and Girls Club in Gadsden and serve these children. She would like to get the community of Gadsden more involved in helping these children. The Director of the Boys and Girls Club, Mr. Sonquez Williams, said that Hydeia is doing a great job working with these children and that he could see the love that she has for them.
