5.18.16 Ashley Whiteside began at Gadsden Job Corps Center on September 22, 2014. While enrolled in our program, she completed the Office Assistant and Home Health Aide trades. On April 22, 2016 she completed the Gadsden Job Corps program and started working for Talladega Nursing Home and Rehab as a certified nursing assistant. Ashley is doing an outstanding job in her position. Her supervisor states that they are impressed with her communication skills and professional demeanor while on and off the floor. She consistently demonstrates leadership and the ability to interact with her clients. Ashley wants to tell our student body, “Achieving your goals is kind of like target shooting. You have to concentrate and focus on the bull’s eye if you want to hit it. The same holds true for reaching your goals. You must focus on them if you want to reach them. Your ability to focus will save you a lot of time.”
