Gadsden Job Corps Security Student Join The U.S. Army To Serve His Country

Recent graduate, Jerbey East came to Job Corps on April 7, 2015 from Atmore, Alabama. During his time at Gadsden Job Corps he obtained his High School Diploma and was a completer of our Security I MILCAP trade. Jerbey enlisted in the United States Army while at Job Corps and separated on January 14, 2016 and headed to Basic Training. Jerbey is currently in Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Staff received a letter from him and he stated “Basic Training, was the worst and best decision I made in my life.” “Almost every day I feel the urge to just quit and give up, but I push myself and remind myself that it’s all a mind game” “Thank you for all your support and kindness, I really needed it. I miss you all at Job Corps and I’ll always remember those who prepped me for greatness.”
We are excited about Jerbey’s accomplishments and his future endeavors.
