Gadsden JCC Black History in the Making

As a way of paying homage and tribute to the significant contributions, made by African Americans throughout history. The Gadsden State Community College, a long with the The Gadsden Job Corps Center, held our first collaborative Black History Program. In attendance were GSCC President Mrs. Murphy, Councilman Larry Avery District 3, GSCC Valley Street Campus Director Mr. Rickey Tillis, and appointed Mayor representative John Moore, along with esteemed guests, students, faculty and the community. A huge shout out to all of the participants, especially the GSCC Show Band, who out on a phenomenal show, as well as Gadsden Job Corps own, Mr. Ragland who performed an amazing spoken word and student N. Robinson for her inspirational praise dance.
