Gadsden Culinary Arts Students Cater RSVP Event

5.25.16 The Gadsden Job Corps Center’s Culinary Arts Program showcased their skills by catering and serving at the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). RSVP is a national program, sponsored locally by the Etowah County Commission and have approximately 450 active volunteers, who provide all kinds of community services for the citizens of Etowah and Cherokee Counties. These students displayed their skills in a banquet setting by serving a full course meal to over 300 senior adults. There were 21 Culinary Arts students who waited on tables to serve the guests of RSVP. The Culinary Arts Instructor, Chef Crystal Dent, led the students in this event with high praises from the President, Mrs. Traci Pondick, and all of the senior adults of RSVP.

A thank you letter from RSVP thanking our students for doing a great job at this event.
