On March 29, 2016 Mr. Juvenel Levros, Center Director of Gadsden Job Corps, received the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) from Mr. Kurt Guttshall, CEO of Applebee’s, Franchisee Quality Restaurant Concepts, Birmingham, AL. Ms. Cherri Lee, HR Director for Quality Restaurant Concepts and the District Managers, Mr. Charles Reedus and Mr. Danny Causey came to the Gadsden Job Corps to meet the Culinary Arts and Hotel and Lodging Students and Instructors, Crystal Dent and Teresa Cochran. Ms. Lee and the District Managers spoke to our students and shared that they are excited to partner with Gadsden Job Corps. Culinary Instructor, Crystal Dent gave the Applebee’s team a tour of the Culinary Art’s classroom and kitchen facilities. Ms. Lee was very impressed with our students and the Gadsden Job Corps Center. Quality Restaurant Concepts operates 59 Applebee’s locations throughout the southeast US and will train our students for four (4) weeks with the opportunity to hire these students upon completion of Culinary Arts and Hotel and Lodging.
