Flint Hills Job Corps and K-Scrubs teamed up to for the first ever “Community Scrub Swap” to benefit the local medical community and Flint Hills Job Corps students.  K-Scrubs’ customers donated their new or gently used medical scrubs and in turn received credit towards new apparel or merchandise.  The donated scrubs where then dontated to FHJCC Health Occupation students at no cost.  Event organizers estimate that more than 100 items of medical apparel were donated to FHJCC!  Event coordinator, Kathy Mead said, “The event was great.  The community really came out and supported us and it was a lot of fun.  Hopefully we can make this an annual event.”
