Homeland Security graduate, Stacy was featured in WIOA partner, GST Michigan Works!  montly newsletler – “Talent Talk Magazine” .  Overcoming various challenges, Stacy was able to complete the Homeland Security trade requirements at Flint Genesee Job Corps while serving as the Student Government Association (SGA) President, helping his peers along the way.  Stacy stayed busy – participated in various community volunteer activities, assisted new incoming students as well as speaking with students in high schools about staying focused, overcoming challenges, and successful consideration of the Job Corps program.  He also participated in the Jobs For Michigan Graduates (JMG) program at GST Michigan Works receiving paid work based learning opportunities.  Stacy is now employed in his own trade, at a neighboring hospital, has his own apartment, and his own car.   Great Job Stacy being a succcess story for Flint Genesee Job Corps as well as GST Micihigan Works!  Staff and students are proud of you!
