On Wednesday, October 20th, Senator Carl Levin met and toured the Flint/Genesee Job Corps Center.   ABC News reporters were on hand when Senator arrived and his visit was aired on the news later that day – as well as prior to his arrival.  Senator Carl Levin was pleasently surprised of the centers clean enviornment, extrodinary classes and services,  and especially the  friendly students who greeted him throughout his stay.  Staff and students were enthused to have our Senator visit our center, who exhanged stories about his past which  encouraged to all of his listeners. 

Senator Carl Levin is Flint/Genesee Job Corps Center’s third congressional visit this year to include Congressman  Dale Kildee and Senator Debbie Stabenow.  The City’s  Mayor Dayne Walling has visited the center more than once this year also!  We are proud to have our government officials show interest in our center and look forward to the next visit!
