Student ambassadors in the Youth2Youth initiative received nonviolence skills training from the Meta Peace Team (MPT).  The MPT trains in creative, nonviolent conflict intervention and teams are deployed at home and abroad to regions of conflict to reduce violence.  MPT has worked in solidarity with the people of Iraq, Haiti, Bosnia, Mexico, Gaza, and native American sovereign nations.   Student ambassadors appreciated the information they received in the group setting in which role playing was a big part of the training – all  expressed interest in additional trainings!   Information will be shared with student body.
