Students in the painting trade of Flint Genesee Job Corps delivered two paintings to New Jerusalem Church, in preparation for their special Black History Month Program in which numerous guest, to include Mayor Walling and State Representative John Gleason, were in attendance. The paintings, which were approximately 4 x 6 feet, hung on each side of the churchs’ activity center. Painting Instructor, Ray Heddy, who attended the event noted the advantages of the Job Corps program and “What a privilege to be a part of the growth and success that takes place in young peoples lives”. The community, staff, and students are proud of the work of the “Paint Squad” of the Flint Genesee Job Corps Center!
