Eight Flint Genesee Job Corps students were invited to participate in the Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce Careers Edge Program.  The Careers Edge Program is a four day workshop in which applicants learn from Chamber’s staff  about the importance of corrct resume format, cover letters, first impressions, interview techniques, being prompt, customer service, and more.   Those students (and participants from various organizations) who completed the four day workshop were invited to a Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce Job Fair open to only those completing the four workshops.  Students did a great job representing Job Corps and were invited back to future events at the Chamber!
