On June 24th, a special article was in the CPS Courier Newspaper,  highlighting the carpentry students from the Flint Genesee Job Corps Center working along with the Geensee County Habitat for Humanity and various organizations during the “Blitz”, the construction of one home in one week.   The new home owner appreciated the help from numerous organizations in the community and the students for the Job Corps Center appreciated being able to assist in the development of the “work-live” home.
