Students elected into the Flint Genesee Job Corps Centers Student Leadership Association (SGA), along with the SGA Coordinator and Business Community Liaison, met with Lt. Governor Brian Calley in his Lansing, Michigan office. Lt. Governor Calley shared information about his responsibilities and the Governors upcoming plans to make Michigan a better place to live and work. Focusing on public safety and education, the office expects economy growth and improvements in department management spending’s. Following the meeting, each student was given a Certificate of Recognition signed by governor Rick Snyder. Students and staff appreciated the time Lt. Governor Calley took from his busy schedule to meet with them and welcomed him to visit the Flint Genesee Job Corps Center to learn more of the services to young people from 16-24 years of age.
