Students and staff at the Flint Genesee Job Corps were highlighted on ABC News on December 8th, which helped serve over 1,000 people with over 400 cars driving up. Both students and staff worked closely together to insure each car received enough boxes of food for their family needs. Food items were donated from the Eastern Food Bank of Michigan in partnership with the R.L. Jones Community Center. The center was also highligted in the Courier Newspaper with several radio stations gaving shout outs to the center for its williingness to assist our community, as well as services offered for young people ages 16-24.
