The Flint Genesee job Corps hosted Signature Day, in which the center opened its doors to welcome guest to tour and learn more about our services to young adults ages 16-24.  Media announcements were made on local radio stations and the community newspaper.  The Center was decorated  with balloon arches, along with refreshments – hot dogs and snacks, along with literature and give-aways.   The Outreach Manager, Monica Calloway welcomed everyone, followed by words from our Center Director, Daniel Sheppard,  and Flint’s Mayor, Sheldon Neeley,  a strong supporter of our Center.  The Student Government Association, (SGA) and their peers gave tours of the facility.  Fifteen new applicants signed up the same day to return and begin our program!  We are proud of our centers services to young adults and look forward to opening our doors again in the near future!
