Flint Genesee Job Corps  recognized International Peace Day with a celebration and unity march through downtown Flint during lunch hour along with various partners to include the  University of Michigan, WOW Outreach, Genesee County Committee for Community Peace, Genesee Health System, Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Chinmaya Mission-Flint,  and others.  Over 300 walkers with non-violent posters and a “peace float” was highlighted in the CPS Journal Newspaper.   Many bystanders joined in the march ending at the NorthBank Center for a special program with various speakers and awards.
