Students at the Flint Genesee Job Corps Center have been assisting the communuty during the water crisis by giving out water every Wednesday, labeling water testers, and distrbuting water filters.   Students have assisted the Red Cross, GCAARD, and various churches with different tasks to include food giveaways.  Each week the security trade class and another trade work together giving out water donated by the Eastern Food Bank.  The Basketball Team and Student Government Assoociation (SGA) have also a big part in giving back to the community!   We are proud of our students and their willingness to help others during this crisis in which lead levels are extremly high in this area.  Residents have been advised to drink only bottled water and eat various food items to defrey lead toxients.
