Student Alumni of Flint Genesee Job Corps, Natalie, path grew step by step, earning her High School Diploma and moving ito path her chosen career in corrections.  Feeling compelled to serve others, she chose Homeland Security as her selected trade, and later participating in the WIOA Youth and Jobs for Michigan  program. After completing her trade she completed training with the Michigan Department of Corrections.  Her dedication and persistence paid off when she was hired as a Corrections Officers at a Correction Facility.  She indicates that working in corrections is about guiding, supporting and protecting individuals within the system, while helping create a safer environment for everyone,  Great job – students and staff are proud of her!!
