The Flint/Genesee Job Corps was delighted to have U.S. Congressman Dale E. Kildee, Tiffany Flynn, District Chief of Staff, and Constituent Service Representative, Rafael Turner visit our Center today.  Congressman Kildee and his staff held a very exciting and informative meeting with the Student Government Association (SGA), along with the Center Director, Jean Hill, and selected management staff.

Congressman Kildee, who has been a strong supporter of Flint/Genesee Job Corps since inception,  was pleased that each student had a long term goals for themselves to include being an attorney and/or going into politics.  Being a previous teacher, he congratulated students for their achievements, taking on the responsibilities of student government, and advised students to think outside of the box.  After meeting with SGA, Congressman Kildee and his staff toured our Child Development Center, which cares for children of  single parent students of the program.

Congressman Kildee was very pleased with the centers services to our students as well as the well kept grounds.  Students and staff were thankful that he was able to take time from his busy schedule to visit our center!
