Material Handling Project 2: Roadway
In Material Handling we learn the 6 Sigma training: Lean Manufacturing. It deals with using all material and our goal should always be having 90 % plus recycling and under 10 % waste. Some of the students and myself fixed the holes in the floor with the supervision and help of Mr. David Tabor who is a Jewel to this center (very multi-talented and wise; and always willing to help and give guidance to other trade instructors). And then the students patched some holes in the road between Academics and the Warehouse to make sure we used all material and stay under the 10 % waste.
