A group of Finch-Henry Job Corps Center students were recently honored by the Governor of Mississippi and officials of the Governor’s Job Fair Network. Adam Todd, Job Fair Network Director, presented the certificates to four of the students during a luncheon sponsored by the Job Fair Network. The students were honored for their work earlier in the year during the job fair in Batesville, the home of the Finch-Henry center. This was the third year that Finch-Henry students assisted businesses, applicants and job fair officials. The work drew strong praise from local and state officials. The center’s Culinary Arts class also assisted by preparing food for the job fair and luncheon. As a result of the established relationship with the center, Todd has committed to work with center staff to arrange the Governor’s visit to the center.
