Job Corps Volunteers with Saving Families at Paint and Punch Party

Earlier this month Finch-Henry Job Corps Center BLC/WBL Reginald Jackson volunteered with Saving Families, a Sardis, MS based non-profit. Operated by its founder, Shari Smith, Saving Families seeks to enhance their community by providing more opportunities, helping meet needs and, diligently serving the community at large. The Paint and Punch Party was hosted at The Venue in downtown Sardis, it welcomed kids ages 6 to 13 to come paint on canvases with watercolors while sipping delicious punch from champagne flutes and listen to soothing, rhythmic tunes playing in the background. The children had a blast exploring their creative sides and producing some museum worthy art! Job Corps thanks Shari Smith, The Venue, and Saving Families for giving us the opportunity to help out and, for all that they do to help lift the community.
