Finch-Henry Students Welcomed by Mayor

Mayor Jerry Audrey, Center Director Cordella Smith and New Students

The new students at Finch-Henry Job Corps Center were recently greeted by Batesville Mayor Jerry Autrey, a longtime supporter of the center. The students had the opportunity to receive a personal welcome and share with Mayor Autrey on their first full day on center as they toured the campus. The mayor is the Immediate Past President of the Finch-Henry Job Corps Center Community Relations Council, of which he has been an active member for many years. Mayor Autrey proudly tells students, staff and center supporters that his father was a strong supporter of the center when it opened in 1981, and that he is happy to be in a position to continue that level of support on behalf of the city. The Center Director, Cordella Smith, introduced Autrey to the students and informed them of the value of strong support from the mayor and other local officials. The Finch-Henry Center and MINACT, Inc. President and CEO, Booker T. Jones, has recognized Mayor Autrey in the past for his exceptional support of the center and MINACT, Inc.
