Two employees at the Finch-Henry Job Corps Center are delivering smiles to students on center during this trying time. With students mobility limited due to Covid 19, staff members Latasha Johnson and Verneka Watson recognized the need for a moral booster in student housing and, stepped in to fill the void. They are delivering goody bags! The bags are jam packed with numerous fun snack items like, rice crispy treats, potato chips, tasty beverages and granola bars but, perhaps more importantly, they added warm cozy socks, lip balm and toasty hats that help fight the cold temperatures we’ve been experiencing here in Batesville, Mississippi. They believe these small acts of kindness go a long way in the overall happiness and productivity of our students and, everyone else here at Finch-Henry totally agrees! Kudos to them.
