Finch-Henry Job Corps Center in Batesville, MS put on a show for area schools in celebration of Dr. Seuss’s big day! BCL Reginald Jackson along with TABE Reading Instructor Kim Turner and Testing/Disability Coordinator Bridgett Griffin, dressed as The Cat in The Hat, Thing One and Thing Two. The trio visited Head Start and Day Care centers in the surrounding areas to read to and entertain the young students as part of Read for America 2022. They also delivered gift bags filled with fruit snacks and Dr. Seuss pencils, erasers and stickers. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience for everyone involved, especially the grown-ups! We look forward to participating in Read For America next year.
