Members of the Rhode Island Hospitality Association executive board held their quarterly meeting at the Exeter Job Corps Academy on May 1, 2012.  Visitors included National Restaurant Association members, Newport Harbor Corporation, Hyatt Newport, Renassance Hotel, Sysco, OakHill Tavern, Rhode Island Film office and Panera Bread.  RIHA members reconized and celebrated the all EJCA Culinary Arts students for they efforts in the State and National ProSTART competitions.  Bahjat Shariff, Sr. Vice President of operations and operating partner Howley Bread Group (Panera Bread) was recognized as the 2012 National Restaurant Association’s Faces of Diversity winners.
