EJCA Advanced Culinary Arts students and chefs catered the grand opening event of the Rhode Island Fire Academy on July 27, 2011. The RI Association of Fire Chiefs conducted the ribbon cutting ceremony along with RI Governor Lincoln Chaffee, Senate President Teresa Paiva-Weed and Senate Representative Larry Valencia in attendance. Representative Valencia congratulated EJCA students on the culinary treats that were served at the event. EJCA CD Joseph DiPina was an invited guest at this event and was proud of the EJCA students – Job well done!
