#Giving Back

Exeter Job Corps Student Government Association students regularly conduct a “change for change” donation where student’s spare change is collected and donated to local foundations.  This past month, the SGA decided to donate the money to Crossroads of RI, which is a homeless shelter for adults, that helps them get back on their feet and rebuild their lives.  They were able to provide the shelter with cleaning supplies that are used in kits for new residents.  The staff at Crossroads was very thankful of our donations and they gave the students a tour of the facility and asked the students to come back and help with other projects in the future.  Our students felt that this was a very fulfilling and humbling experience for all.
