Jog for Japan flyer EJCA Student Government Association [SGA] accepted the recent challenge issued by National Director Edna Primrose and started an initiative to help raise funds for the Japanese Relief efforts. The students organized a 5K run “Jog for Japan”. Students were encouraged to pledge or collect sponsorships for themselves to complete the 5K jog. Over 150 students and 25 staff members participated in the April 21st event raising over $1000. EJCA students and staff stepped to the plate and should concern for others, with a special recognition for 1 Aspire dormitory who donated their entire wing’s savings account for this event. The weather was perfect, and EJCA showed that there truly is strength in numbers. All students and staff stuck together, encouraging each other to complete this important event. The donation will be made to the RED CROSS international who have already established a Japan relief program.
