Dragon Boat race team “DRAGON SMOKE” competed in Pawtucket, RI on September 10, 2011 and securedthe GOLD medal again. For the third year in a row 22 students in all, rose to the challenge with only one practice run under their belt due to Hurricane Irene weather conditions, and beat all competitors in their division.  The win this year is a true testiment to the students powerful team work, positive attitude and drive to win of EJCA students.  This is the second win in 2011 for the DRAGON SMOKE race team, they secured the Bronze medal in their division in the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival of Boston 2011.  Coach Beth Knox and EJCA students are the best. Go DRAGON SMOKE!!!
