On February 2nd and 9th, EJCA students volunteered their time to assist the RI homeless population. Students were cooking and serving meals, sorting clothing donations, organizing hygiene products, socializing with clients, revamping bulletin boards as well as arts and crafts projects at the Bristol Good Neighbor Soup Kitchen. One of our students commented that “these people all had lives and jobs before things went bad, it brings tears to my eyes and makes me realize that so many of us take things for granted”. EJCA students and our Peer Leadership Coordinator were amazing and really work hard all day to make a difference.
