EJCA students and staff again partnered with Domestic Violence Center of South County [DVRCSC] to bring the nationally recognized anti-bullying initiative Rachel’s Challenge message to all students. EJCA was a pilot site in 2011 for introducing Rachel’s message to young adults. The pilot program was so successful that the DVRCSC replicated it with South County public schools this year. SGA and leadership students have driven the 2011-2012 center based campaign all year to ensure that our students are welcomed and the center culture is bully free. Students and staff participated in two evening community events with Rachel’s Challenge presenters in February and then the students brought the message back to campus. DVRCSC staff are very proud of EJCA students and their committe to keep our campus environment bully free.
