EJCA students welcomed nationally recognized Dr. Cornelius O. “Skip” Granai III, Director of the Program of Women’s Oncology, RI’s largest focused cancer program dedicated to women. Dr. Grania is the Vice President of the Network and Women’s Center at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI. He has been voted one of “Rhode Island’s Top Doc.” and “Best Doctor for Women” on a yearly basis since 2004. Dr. Grania meet with female students with a themed presentation “If I were you and you were me . . . ” He shared with the students that life is not a straight line and that our line crosses with many others over time. At the unexpected intersections, how do we proceed, when there are no sign posts pointing the way? There are so few pure answers. Even though his presentation was a highlight for Women’s Month celebration the female students invited the male students to join them. They felt that Dr. Grania’s message was so inspirational all students should hear him. Dr. Grania was a great speaker who truly reach many students with him message. EJCA students and staff are looking forward to his next visit.
