On March 10th 2016, a group of students and OA Coordinator Ms. Sparrow volunteered to help the Ronald McDonald House in Providence, Rhode Island. The Ronald McDonald House is a place where the families of children from infancy to 23 years old with cancer can unwind and rest while their children are in the hospital. While there, the students helped clean and organize the food pantry, vacuum all the floors, and helped clean the walls in the kitchen and hallway. The house currently has 130 volunteers, who help provide less stress and a clean environment for the guests and staff. We would like to thank the following students for volunteering and for doing some good in the community:
Corey Lyons, Joshua Tremblay, Kelsi Anderson, Justin Stephens, Alex Brooks, Freddi Carpentino, Leslie Perez. -Written by student Kelsi Anderson.
