On Wednesday, March 2nd, the Exeter Student Government Association students hosted a local organization called Hope Full RI on center as a Community Service event. Hope Full RI is an organization that works in conjunction with Adoption RI to help support children and teens who are in foster care. The organization makes fleece blankets, bags and pillows for more that 2,500 children in foster care in the state. Many of these children can move upwards of 10 times in a single year, and the bags and blankets made by the organization gives the students something they can bring with them when they move. From 6:30 t0 8:00, EJCA students worked hard to create these blankets. Over twenty students came to the event and their hard work led to 14 completed blankets. The staff from Hope Full RI was extremely grateful to the center for hosting the event and are looking forward to coming back again in the future.
