On Thursday September 15th, 2011 Rotary District 6040 Governor Dan Hall was the guest speaker at the meeting of the Excelsior Springs Rotary Club. Sixteen members from the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center Rotaract Club were in attendance. Following the meeting, Mr. Hall was given a tour of the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center. Business Community Liaison Don Bonjour and Navy JROTC Bill Allen escorted Hall to several classrooms around campus including; Transportation/Communication, Facilities Maintenance, Welding, Culinary Arts, and Navy JROTC. Center Director Willie Smith also met briefly with Governor Hall who stated that Job Corps was providing a necessary service and that he would do what he could to be supportive of the Job Corps program.
