Tuesday, February 26th the Kansas City metro area was hit was a blast of snow that resulted in accumulations over 12 inches. This was on top of the 12 inches that has already fallen in the previous week. Some staff were not able to make it to work. Culinary Arts students helped to staff the Cafeteria. In addition, the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center lost power in the early hours of February 26th. The students helped to prepare a brunch menu of blueberry and cherry pancakes.
Students also took advantage of the abundant snowfall to build a snowman in front of the dormitories.
