Applebee’s in Excelsior Springs served approximately 300 veterans on Sunday November 11th.  About 100 observed the flag passing ceremony that was held by the NJROTC students of the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center. The cadets were selected based on sustained, superior performance and demonstrated leadership in the JROTC program. The cadets were honored to have been selected and were humbled by the dedicated service of so many veterans.  This was the third year JROTC was requested to join with Applebee’s for Veteran’s day.
