On Thursday December 1st students from the Alternate Training Location in Kansas City representing the Student Government Association delivered 602 pounds of food to Harvesters. This collaboration of staff and students included students that had only recently arrived at the center but were still willing to help out for community service.

During early December students also collected food, clothes, and toys to assist the Salvation Army. Students returned to the center on Friday December 16th- the first day of their break to deliver these items to the Salvation Army in Kansas City.
