Students of the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center were featured at the March meeting of the Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce. Students from the Culinary Arts trade prepared and served the meal. Students from the Junior Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps assisted with parking, opened the door, and gave a flag ceremony for those in attendance and presented the flag to the retiring Executive Director of the Chamber, Terry Smelcer. The members of the Chamber learned about Job Corps and the benefit it gives to the community as well as what they could do to help impact the lives of our students.
