Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center Students participate in annual city wide cleanup.

Eighteen students from the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center as well as 3 staff members participated in the annual Pride Cleanup and Picnic. This city wide event involved over 120 people and was done in conjunction with the Rotary Internation Day of Service Above Self. Students from the Navy JROTC, Rotaract Club, and the Transporation Communication Trade were involved as well as BCL Don Bonjour, Navy JROTC Instructor Bill Allen and his wife Marta, and SGA Coordinator Dennis Madrid.  Some of the activites included weeding and laying down mulch in the city flower beds, trash pick up in city creeks, and pick up of brush and debris at homes of the elderly and disabled. The city and people of Excelsior Springs appreciate the participation of Job Corps in this annual event.
