Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center students make holiday donations.

Students and staff of the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center and its Kansas City Alternate Training Location made generous donations to area charities during the Holiday season.

 The Alternate Training Location in Kansas City sponsored a food, clothing, coat, blanket and toy drive. The donation went to the Salvation Army who in return will distribute to various community organizations. Types of donations were food, toys, baby clothing, turkeys, about 25 hand crafted knitted caps, clothing, coats and blankets blanket’s.

Students and staff at the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center collected 135.5 pounds of food and delivered it to the Good Samaritan Center in Excelsior Springs.
