In observance of Center Safety Day, female students at the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center attended a personal safety and defense class taught by Megan Kimberlin of isee360 Training. Ms. Kimberlin shared personal stories to emphasize the need to always be aware of your surroundings. She also talked to the students about the need to report odd or threatening behavior and to always listen to their “gut” instinct. Kimberlin also showed the students some simple moves that could ward off an attacker.
