Male students and staff of the Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center gathered for a Men’s Day celebration titles “Wisdom, Strength, and Sacrifice” on Wednesday August 11th at the Elms Resort and Spa. Several speakers came to share their personal stories as well as offer advice and insight on how to achieve success. The students heard from an Army recruiter, a univeristy professor, a representative from 100 Black Men, and a community activist there to talk about parental responsibility.
