On Saturday, December 17th Edison Job Corps hosted a special Holiday Health Basketball Benefit featuring, “The Three Doctors”. This was the second year in a row that Edison Job Corps has opened its doors to nationally known role models and best selling authors, Drs. Sampson Davis, Rameck Hunt and George Jenkins.
The doctors are best known for their story of overcoming numerous obstacles including fatherlessness, crime and poverty to reach their dream of working together to become doctors. They serve as great role models for Job Corps students and we look forward to them visiting our center once again to offer our students a brighter holiday through a friendly game of basketball and donated gifts. The program was free and opened to the general public.
