The Edison Job Corps Academy culinary students volunteered their time and talents to Mt. Zion Church. The experience was life changing for the young adults and church members who invited the students back to help and contribute to the needs of the church. The Job Corps students quickly realized giving back teaches them to find compassion within ourselves and to stay attached to values that are linked to the common good. The Mt. Zion Church ministry offered to extend the volunteering to work base learning opportunity for culinary students interested in serving and preparing meals for people in need.
