Edison Job Corps Academy recently became an active  member of Microsoft IT Academy. This membership provides great benefits including but not limited to online access to lessons plans, power point presentations, practice tests, operating system software, discounts on test vouchers and books.

A+/Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist program which began as a joint venture with AT&T, Millennium Information Technology Group (MITG) and the Edison Job Corps Academy is an advanced training program that has been honored by CompTia at the Awards for Excellence conference and also presented with the “Unique Partnership” award for the innovative approach to collaborating with the IT industry to expand opportunities for the students. Trainees not only have an opportunity for hands – on experience, internships and job shadowing experience but also work with dedicated staff that supports them with their transitional needs upon graduation of the program.  Staff encourages students to continue their education and provides assistance with employability skills and job placement.
